some observations

so one of the reasons i have decided to create a blog is because i hate blogs.
you can call me a hypocrite, i don't mind.
i find myself curious as to when this whole ridiculous phenomenon that targets addictive personalities like mine started...
i think i have a pretty good idea how it began.

about five years ago, i noticed people began sending out newsletters with their christmas cards. in these letters contained information about people's lives and achievements. in all honesty, it seemed like an excuse to brag.

why should i care how many soccer games little Skylar had this year? who gives a flying four letter word how Madison excelled far beyond her limitations this year in Math?
the dreaded inkjet printer generated christmas (yeah, i said it, CHRISTMAS) newsletter is how it all began...
